Application

Is administration of Advocate®/Advantage multi® difficult? It couldn’t be easier. Just a spot on the skin of the animal assures protection for four weeks: a single product creating a full spectrum shield that takes no more than 20 seconds to set up. Indications for Use

Dosage

The recommended minimum dose for dogs is 10 mg/kg bodyweight imidacloprid and 2.5 mg/kg bodyweight moxidectin, which is equivalent to 0.1 ml/kg bodyweight of Advocate for dogs. For cats, the recommended minimum dose is 10 mg/kg bodyweight imidacloprid and 1.0 mg/kg bodyweight moxidectin, which is equivalent to 0.1 ml/kg bodyweight of Advocate for cats. more...

Formulation

Advocate is formulated as a liquid spot on solution for topical application to dogs and cats. The Advocate formulation for dogs uniquely combines 10% w/v imidacloprid (100 mg/ml) with 2.5% w/v moxidectin (25 mg/ml). Treatment Recommendations

Advocate treatment recommendations for dogs up to 25 kg body weight, more than 25 kg body weight and cats. The tip of the pipette is placed on the skin and the pipette is firmly squeezed several times to empty its contents directly onto the skin.
